Carnival Valor Menu

Well, you can see how I am getting ready for our cruise next week...I am
checking out the Breakfast and Dinner Menu's. The Breakfast Menu looks great. I am looking forward to trying something different every day. That is the beauty of a 7 day cruise...you get to sample it all. I am eager to try the Smoked Salmon with Cream Cheese and Toasted Bagle.

Now for Dinner we look at the Starter Menu first. This is where it gets tough. Last year on our Cruise I was constantly stuck on the Black Tiger Shrimp Cocktail to start my meal. I must have ordered it 4 out of 6 dinners. What do you think of the Wilted Spinach and Portobello Mushrooms? I love Portobello Mushrooms and I am a fan of Spinach, I'm just not to sure of the discription, "Wilted". Just doesn't sound that appealing. Suggests that it my be a little old...not to fresh.

Now to the Main Course Menu. All of these dishes are "Great", but I do have a favorite and will probably order 2-3 nights and that is, "Rack of New Zealand Spring Lamb Dijonnaise, followed by a close second, Assorted Seafood Newburg Style.
Though the Rack of Lamb is my favorite. I remember growing up in the '50's and '60's and my Mom making Rack of Lamb occationally. I'm not sure if it was cheaper then or what because we grew up pretty poor...more Hotdog nights then Lamb I remember. All I know is I loved it then and still love it today.

Well, how about you? Did you see anything on the menu's that you liked or could just die for? You have to admit they feed you well. In closing I am going to post a picture of the Dessert Buffet. If you have a "sweet tooth" this is for you...If you are on a DIET...oh, well. Start back up when you get back home.
